As Chief Executive Officer, Nick is responsible for overseeing Solartis corporate operations, and working closely with the leadership team to develop the company’s business strategy. He brings a wealth of experience in enterprise software and the insurance industry.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Nick was a senior vice president at ePolicy Solutions, a leading provider of insurance quote and policy management solutions. He previously served as a national head of Medicare insurance at Kaiser Permanente and as an associate principal at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on serving clients in the insurance industry.
In addition to his role at Solartis, Nick is Vice Chairman of the Roessler-Chadwick Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization that runs schools in Los Angeles, United States and in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Nick has an MBA from Harvard University and a BS from the University of London, England.
Siby is responsible for defining the technology vision and direction for Solartis Automation which includes identifying, evaluating, enabling new technologies and lead product engineering involving architecture, design and implementation. He brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise systems, distributed transaction processing, cloud computing, knowledge bases, artificial intelligence and business process management systems.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Siby worked in a variety of technology roles at Inventa Technologies Inc., a Silicon Valley-based Internet professional services firm providing strategy, technology, implementation and support service solutions to large corporations and emerging Internet businesses. Siby worked at Inventa as Director of Technology, focusing on enterprise architecture, defining software engineering standards & procedures, enterprise application development, new technology product offerings which includes technology frameworks and enterprise systems for insurance industry clients.
Previously Siby worked on a variety of projects in different industry verticals involving Product Engineering, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to co-exist & inter-operate enterprise systems that run on heterogeneous environments.
Siby holds a MS in Computer Applications from University of Kerala, India. In addition, he also holds a BS degree in Electronics & Communications and a BS degree in Physics from University of Kerala, India.
Srini is responsible for managing Solartis day-to-day operations, including business transaction processing, quality control operations, customer support, and real estate and facilities. As one of the Solartis founders, he brings over 20 years of experience and leadership in project leadership, software operations, technology solutions delivery and professional services to its management team.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Srini worked in a variety of project management roles at Inventa, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based Internet professional services firm providing strategy, technology, implementation and support service solutions to large corporations and emerging Internet businesses. Most recently at Inventa, Srini worked for 2 years as Program Manager for an insurance industry customer developing a quote and policy administration solution.
Srini has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Systems Design and Development from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.
Carol McKenzie is a seasoned business executive, with over two decades of expertise in the Property and casualty Insurance sector, particularly in the areas of business and technology. Her approach centers on remaining at the forefront of innovation. She actively evaluates and advocates for cutting-edge technological developments that are directly applicable to and advantageous for insurance administration. This includes the areas of Microservice Architecture, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Low Code/No Code Tools, and Generative AI. Equipped with a diverse skill set in sales, marketing, communication, insurance business processing, underwriting, and technology, Carol is proficient in devising and communicating forward-thinking strategies and solutions that enhance the automation and management of insurance operations.
